Martin O’Brien’s Shark Night!
It’s international shark week and as we love sharks and you love sharks why don’t you enter a world dedicated to the most mysterious creature on earth…yes, we mean the shark!!!
Films, music, performance, poetry, shark portraits, loans and danger. This is a night celebrating all things shark. From classic shark B-movies to popular music, the shark haunts our culture. Martin O’Brien’s Shark Night invites you into a watery world of teeth and boats not quite big enough. The night will be part reliving your childhood holidays in Blackpool, and part strange shark cult. There will be live music, performances, installations, games, a film archive and a narcissistic host. Come over to the beach bar to encounter a night like no other (we can promise that)! Performing live are Paul Coombs, Keziah, Medusa Has Been, Poet SL Grange, Martins loan shark Hannah Hammerhead and some shark puppetry with Aaron Williamson!
Embrace your inner shark and dive into Triangle’s strangest night!
Come as you are, dress for the beach or embrace your inner shark. 🦈
