Wild Foraging & Herb Vinegar Making with Hackney Herbal
MONDAY 17TH JUNE 2024 @ 6:00 - 8:00 PM - with HACKNEY HERBAL at BARKING PARK
Hackney Herbal is a social enterprise promoting wellbeing through herbs. They specialise in creative workshops and events which connect and inspire people about plants and the natural world.
WORKSHOP: Whether sprouting through cracks in the pavement, growing on rooves, or clinging to walls - London is full of wild plants, many of which have medicinal uses.
With Nat Mady from Hackney Herbal, we will be foraging for and identifying the wild herbs and other plants in Barking Park. Then we will explore the medicinal uses of the herbs and make healing herbal vinegars together to take home- as tonics, for health and taste.
VENUE: Barking Park, Longbridge Road, Barking IG11 8TA, United Kingdom
We will meet at Barking Underground Station and walk there together (Barking is an easy ride from central London on the underground or the C2C from Fenchurch Street).
