For people who like coffee but want to try out poetry. ☕🖊️
Idea is simple, come and enjoy a coffee, hear some poems, and then we write some poems together. Haven't written since high school but want to give it a go again? This is the event for you. All exercises are perfect for beginners and there's no right way to make poetry.
Poetry is always for the everyday, and there’s a misconception that poetry isn’t. People over complicate it and it sometimes feels inaccessible. I We meet in a relaxed cafe and write poetry together.
In July we're going to be at the wonderful Haunt. Haunt is a wonderful space to write in, with some incredible coffee. The team have been super supportive of the event so far and can't wait to be there with everyone in July.
The session will be hosted by Louis Glazzard at Haunt. Haunt would prefer it if we just pay for our coffee separately, which is why tickets cost less. However, I'd really encourage you buy one when you arrive to support this wonderful cafe who have been so supportive of this event.
Haunt is all about easy living, coffee shop by day, speciality wine and cocktail bar by night. They're a fiercely independent family business with an eye for quality.
