"Transcend Borders is a group of people that help to raise funds for transgender, nonbinary and intersex refugees and asylum seekers to afford gender affirming care. The money goes directly to the people that need it most.
Fundraisers for trans-affirming-healthcare happen quite often in the city of Brighton and Hove, but the people that struggle to have fundraisers organised for them are people that are often excluded from our community. Whether this is because of racism, language barriers, or unconscious biases, we exist to bridge this gap and raise funds for TNBI refugees and asylum seekers, while also running events where they can meet more people in the community."
