A Lavender Marriage (LM) is a male/female mixed-orientation marriage undertaken as a marriage of convenience to conceal the socially stigmatised sexual orientation of one or both partners. His brief talk will focus on Hollywood stars such as Rock Hudson, demonstrating how, despite their fame and prosperity, many lived under threats of exposure, blackmail, and other forms of humiliation.

- 6:15-6:35 PM: Tony Porter will give a 10-minute presentation on Lavender Marriages, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
- 6:35-6:45 PM: Break
- 6:45-7:15 PM: Nathan Evans reads from One Last Song, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
- 7:20-7:45 PM: Networking
