Living in Scotland? Are you disabled and/or neurodivergent and LGBTIQ+? Equality Network’s new Disability and Neurodiversity Inclusion team invite you to tell us what to do! We want all our work to be as accessible and inclusive as possible and we want to be sure we’re saying and doing the right things when we work for disabled and neurodivergent people so we have created a survey and will be holding small events in person and online to gather your views and ideas. This is one such event, as an online discussion.
The event will be hosted by Rowan and Mel from Equality Network who are both disabled and neurodivergent themselves.
Who we welcome
All LGBTQI+ people living in Scotland who are disabled and/neurodivergent. Whether you have a diagnosis or not.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQI+) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring or aren't sure about their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
You do not have to attend for the whole session.
If you are unable to attend but would prefer another times/date, please get in touch as we may be able to arrange another event that suits you better - Mel@Equality-Network.org. Alternatively, you can fill in the survey online here.
Accessibility
Captions will be available via Zoom and there will be a break half way through. If you have any access requests, please get in touch and we will do our best to meet them.
