Hello Canım!
We are coming out of our break in this beautiful British summer, for a special event to celebrate Pride and stand in solidarity for the island that is very close to our hearts: Cyprus! We are fundraising for Kuir Kıbrıs / Queer Cyprus, a Cypriot LGBTQIA+ association that is organising trainings, informative workshops, political activism and anti-hate campaigns, alongside running a much needed telephone helpline that members of the LGBTQIA+ community who don't feel safe or are vulnerable can reach for getting support. In order to continue doing what they were and keep their helpline open, they need our help. So we said let's throw a Gullüm as we usually do and make it a PARTY!
Our host is -of course- the astounding heartthrob Tahini Molasses!
Joining us from the Cypriot community for the first time are: with his wonderful SWANA music curation Aran Cherkez behind the DJ decks, the moving image artist and documentarist Florenza Deniz Incirli with their visual work from the latest anti transphobia and anti homophobia march that happened last month and the poet Maria-Sophia Christodoulou reading her inspiring poems. We will also have our friends from the Queer Cyprus Association sending us their message via a video. Your favourite Harem troublemakers and sweethearts: Darlink Dick, Kika, Laz Lightning, Toby Kind and Turkish D'light will also be part of the party with their performances for our favourite island!
PROFIT WILL BE DONATED TO QUEER CYPRUS FOUNDATION / KUIR KIBRIS DERNEĞİ
You can find more about the foundation on https://www.queercyprus.org/
“Harem of No One is a collective of queer performers of Turkish, Kurdish, Cypriot and Southwest Asian heritages but we design our events with anyone being welcome and we encourage all to join our events and have fun with us. You will witness elements of our cultures and our languages mixed together with elements of British and International pop culture which we hope you will enjoy.”
IMPORTANT NOTICE: "Due to sudden technical changes, we will now be holding the event in a public area of the venue (its so cozy and nice). Rest assured, all proceeds from ticket sales will still go to donations, supporting our cause. Attendees entering the event space will be asked for the same suggested donation, with a "pay what you can" option added for tickets for low income people.
To show our appreciation and apologize for this last-minute change, everyone who already bought a ticket will receive a postcard signed by one of the Harem members."

TICKETING: We are before all a community gathering and that means we desire our events to be affordable to everyone. This is why we have a tiered ticketing policy that might seem unusual at first. Our 'Super Supporter' and 'Baba Supporter' tickets are aimed at those of our guests who are able to afford a higher price to pay for a ticket and who would like to support us for what we do. These tickets come with the perk of having seats reserved or a surprise gift as a small thank you for supporting our collective. Having these tickets and our supporters is what is allowing us to offer our 'General Admission' tickets at a fixed affordable price. We also offer low income tickets but do not display those tickets publicly on Outsavvy as it has created some confusion in the past and ask that you contact us privately should you need them. We do not offer refunds for any reason other than the event not happening. In case of extra spaces, we allocate a limited number of tickets to be sold at the door for an extra £4 added to the ticket price.

ACCESSIBILITY: The event space is on the first floor with no wheelchair access, there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. We will offer complimentary tickets for your carers and assistants. We are currently curating the rest of the accessibility information for the venue FabWick. Thank you for the patience.
