✨ Get ready London!! Our next salsa event edition is back on the 9th of August, this time we’re venturing South and bringing SALSATON to life by dropping a reggeaton class into the mix at the iconic Fox and Firkin.
We’re going bigger and better! 🎉🕺💃 Hosted by Popola joining two incredible queer partner dance collectives Sanura Dance & Queer Salsa, along with Cuban reggaeton babe TropicanDance and a special performance by the absolute queen Macha Kiddo. Coming together to celebrate the heart of Latinx culture with salsa and perreo workshops, live performance and an after party where you’ll be able to bring what you've learnt to the dance floor.
Whether you’ve been dancing for a while or a complete beginner, you're welcome here! 🌟🎶 Our fiery dancers, dynamic DJs, and energetic performances are all set to light up the dance floor.
Dance Workshops til 9pm (Outside if there’s a bit of sun🌞)
Beginners Cross Body Salsa Workshop : 7pm - 8:15pm

Queer Salsa will be running a beginners cross body class with a focus on partner work and connection. We'll be covering the basic steps and fun moves like spinning to get you ready for the dance floor. You'll be swapping partners throughout the class to meet one another and get comfy asking new people to dance at the party.
Beginners Reggaeton Perreo Workshop : 8:15pm - 9pm

Join Tropicandance for a very special workshop where he’ll be sharing his rich Cuban culture through the fundamentals of reggaeton. He’ll teach you the precision and fluidity of this vibrant dance style, with a special focus on perfecting your perreo. Open to all levels, including complete beginners, Tropicandance’s welcoming and interactive teaching style will help you build confidence to experience the electrifying moves and rhythms that make Cuban reggaeton so unique.
