WILD QUEERS is a series of guided sessions tuning into moments of slow joy in nature. I usually run these sessions in urban environments, highlighting pavement plants, hidden meadows and mini woodlands. I aim to create an intentional space of community care, where we learn from each other and see how nature can nourish and sustain us.
For Pride month, join a small group for a guided session in Margate's meadows and woodlands.
Logistics: The sessions will last about 1.5 hours and are LGBTQIA+ centred, with allies welcome too. Just bring yourself, no previous knowledge needed. There will be no expectation to talk, so come along however you are feeling. There will be walking options and seated options. Access information

Facilitator bio:
Phoebe Apollo (she/they) is a queer nature lover who retrained so she could be outside more. She now works for Thanet District Council taking care of trees and increasing biodiversity. Phoebe has always loved nature, especially how it helps fuel her to continue to fight for collective freedom. In return she wants to support our local community to have increased access to nature and feel more comfortable in urban green spaces. www.phoebeapollo.com/wild-queers
