Event Type: Wine Tasting
Date and Time: August 25th, 2024, 18:00 - 20:30
Location: Arcobaleno, Kemptown, Brighton
Join us for an evening dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and their contributions to the English wine industry. The Queer Wine Club is the perfect gathering for queer wine enthusiasts and those eager to learn more about wine, spotlighting some of the industry's queer winemakers and business owners.
The event aims to highlight the achievements of queer people in the English wine industry and provide an opportunity for the LGBTQIA+ community to come together, taste some exquisite wines, and learn all about them.
Event Highlights and Activities:
- Wine Tasting: Sample a variety of wines from prominent queer winemakers and industry business owners.
- Socialising: Mingle with fellow wine lovers in a welcoming environment.
- Special Guests: Meet Kristen (she/her) from Off the Line Vineyard, a representative from Digby Fine Wines, and Beck (they/them) from Haar Winery. Panel hosted by Alex, a recovering restaurant-industry-diehard, wine nerd and joyful advocate for QTBIPOC culinary and oenological (wine) brilliance!
- Snacks and other drinks: Enjoy some complementary charcuterie to share on your table, along with a full bar for additional drink purchase options.
