On Thursday 22 August, Quench Gallery and Margate Pride present a panel conversation and Q&A exploring how to get your art seen. With a panel of curators, gallerists, producers and artists at CAMP.

Quench Gallery
Co-founder of Quench Gallery, Guy Oliver is an artist/filmmaker. He graduated from the Royal College of Art (MA Painting) in 2015, his interdisciplinary practice employs video as well as painting, collage and performance. He was shortlisted for the Jarman Award 2021 and was the recipient of the Jerwood/Film & Video Umbrella Award 2020. In 2021, together with his partner, Lindsey Mendick, he founded Quench Gallery in Margate to support artists in a post-pandemic era.
Margate Pride
Co-Director, Mia Pollak. With over twenty years of experience in the art world as a fundraiser, director and producer of innovative events and interventions, as well as fundraising for a range of cultural institutions. She has been a producer for Margate Pride since 2017, an arts-and-culture-led corporate-free Pride that has supported hundreds of artists and creatives.
Kavel Rafferty
Artist, curator and gallerist. With a gallery and studio space at the old Post Office Margate, Kavel brings their wealth of knowledge and experience having also curated the Pride Art Map for the last two years.
Liaqat Rasul
Liaqat Rasul is a Gay Welsh Pakistani dyslexic artist his work explores community, identity, resilience, mental health & migrant experiences through textiles, sculpture & collage. Rasul is the recipient of this year's Margate Pride Open Call Gallery Exhibition.
Rob Diament
Director of Carl Freedman Gallery: a commercial contemporary art gallery in Margate, and Counter Editions: a company that produces prints and multiples by leading contemporary artists; and co-host and author of the hit podcast and book series Talk Art.
Held at CAMP, doors are 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. The panel will last an hour followed by an opportunity for a Q&A. There is limited capacity at CAMP, so please register for free tickets - link in insta bio / website listings or the Margate Pride outsavvy page. Donations welcome!
