FILM CLUB COLLECTIVE RAGE
collective rage is a monthly film club, by and for marginalised people, taking place at the Vagina Museum. collective rage aims to screen films from under-represented filmmakers and give the collective agency. Watching films is never a passive experience. collective rage film club is a form of cinema therapy, offering a safe space for personal expression and healing. Through workshops and activities led by artists, filmmakers, and social advocates, attendees are invited to engage, connect, and find solace in the power of storytelling.
Genesis
collective rage emerged from our own rage towards the current state of society and cinema. collective rage is thought of as a shape-shifter cinema experience, like the divinity Nǎga, a fluid creature oscillating between snake and human forms. Rage is powerful. Rage is beautiful. Together, let’s slough our rage into a joyful, positive embodiment.
