Drag Down the Borders is a fundraiser full of outstanding drag and cabaret talent, an astounding DJ and a cracking raffle. Yes, these Drag Kings, Queens, and Things support the Migrants.

We're fundraising to support asylum seekers, and to resist cruel immigration policies across the UK, France, Palestine, Congo, and Sudan.
All money raised goes to: Micro Rainbow, Operation Olive Branch, Project Play, Solidarity Detainee Support

ACCESSIBILITY
The taproom is accessible for wheelchairs, and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet to the right as you enter the venue. This will be a mixed seating and standing event, so seats are on a first come first served basis. If you'd like to reserve a seat for access reasons, or if you have any queries, or if there is anything else we can do to make the show accessible to you, please email sweetfadrag@gmail.com.
Unfortunately there will not be a BSL interpreter or captions for this event. There will be bright, but not flickering or strobe, lights throughout the show. The show and DJ will be loud. There is a breakout outside area. We will content note any potentially triggering content, please be aware that there will be mentions of the lived experiences of migrants in the hostile environment.
The nearest step free station is Walthamstow Central, a 13 minute walk away.
DRINKS
There will be alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on sale, it is possible to preorder buckets of beers and ciders, and tanks of cocktails to share, in case you don't fancy too many trips to the bar.
COVID
Covid isn't over and we need to keep each other safe. We ask everyone who attends to test before attending. Please wear a mask if you have coldy/flu symptoms, or if it makes you more comfortable in the space. Masks and hand sanitiser will be available.
TICKET PRICES
Obvs everybody loves a bargain, but we'd like this event to be as accessible as possible pricewise, so please pay what you can afford. If you can't attend but would like to support these incredible causes, please consider buying a pay it forward ticket, raffle tickets online or donating.

RAFFLE TICKETS
Purchase of raffle tickets will guarantee that you're entered into to our raffle to potentially win amazing prizes (TBA), these tickets will not guarantee entry to the show.
COLLECTIONS FOR PEOPLE IN DETENTION
We will be collecting items for people in detention, so please feel free to drop off anything appropriate.
SDS will be collecting unisex/men's clothing (in all sizes): T-shirts (graphics and brands ok), sweatpants, button up shirts, trousers, new underwear,new socks, shoes (good condition and clean), sweaters/sweatshirts, bags (backpacks/duffle bags)
Captain Support will be collecting: all of the above apart from no plain black or white, no big branding or logos, no hoods, no accessories like hats or scarves.
STALLS
Solidarity Detainee Support and The Love Tank will have stalls throughout the event so you can chat to their members, find out more info, and sign up to get involved.
