London's long-lost cabaret calamity has landed in Brighton!
Join Drag Idol UK winner, occasional author and permanent village idiot Felix Le Freak for a night of rainbow-flavoured silliness like no other, as we take over Tusk club (downstairs at The Walrus).
Expect a veritable smorgasbord of drag, comedy, music and general hijinks. You’ll be guaranteed to leave laughing and/or utterly furious.
STARRING
DARLING LEON
This delightful drag king mixes absurd comedy with high art in his unique performance pieces. Darling Leon is fresh from winning the award for artistic creativity in season 1 of The Next Drag Superstar, Brighton. Expect the unexpected because this perfect and peculiar dandy will not disappoint.
TAYRIS MONGARDI
A Brighton legend who needs no introduction. We’ll do one anyway. Tayris is the host of Brighton’s beloved drag contest, Titans, and a resident at Revenge (among many other spots). She is as goofy as she is stunning - a powerhouse of high drag and electric dance moves.
DANI COOPER
Dani is an award-nominated writer, stand-up comedian and recovering Eastender, often found gigging at long-running comedy nights in Brighton and beyond. Those with a weak pelvic floor are strongly advised to come wearing their most absorbent laughing pants.
MORGAN FAILURE
Morgan is fresh off a triumphant win at the grand finale of The Next Drag Superstar, Brighton, where regulars grew to look forward to their twisted interpretations of the weekly challenges. Mx Failure brings to the stage a sickening combination of skill, concept and raw punk energy - the perfect warm-up to the halloween season!
WHERE, WHEN AND HOW?
Join us on Wednesday 2nd October at the gorgeous TUSK CLUB, a decadent cabaret lounge with velvet booths and dangling chandeliers, located on the basement level of THE WALRUS on Ship Street, BN1 1AD.
Downstairs doors open at 7.30pm and the show will kick of at 8pm sharp. The venue serves wonderful food all evening so why not take in dinner AND a show?
The night will feature two intervals but you are free to come and go as you please, whether you fancy a drink, a smoke, a toilet break or simply a moment of peace and quiet.
TICKETS
Earlybird tickets start at just £5, which is an absolute steal for the show you’ll be getting. Final release tickets will move up to £8 and entry on the door costs £10 so get in early if you want to save a few quid.
As with any Felix Le Freak production, a limited number of pay-what-you-can tickets are available. Affordable discount codes are available on request once those run out. We want to ensure that money isn’t a barrier to anyone who wants to join the party.
If you’re filthy rich, or even vaguely comfortable, why not consider purchasing one of our pay-it-forward packages to ensure the show can keep running and keep providing affordable options? I’ve seen your Hermes scarf, Linda. There’s no point pretending to be broke now. Cough up!
All in all, Felix & Friends promises a night of queer joy, morbid curiosities and flagrant stupidity, all with its tongue firmly in cheek. We shan’t say which cheek.
Audience participation is strongly encouraged in the form of whoops, cheers and giggles. However, hateful or disruptive behaviour of any kind towards our artists or members of our community will not be tolerated. Don't make me release the hounds!
