Join us for our next girlhike on 5th October, this time heading a bit further afield into the Kent woodlands for a witchy woodsy walk.
Get out of your head and into your body as we enjoy time together in nature and in community. On this autumnal hike, we will incorporate moments of sharing, meditation, and connection with each other and the beautiful land that surrounds us.
Founded by Alaina Crystal, a feminist strategist, coach and facilitator, girlhike is for women+ and non-binary folx who feel the pull of the wild outdoors and want some guidance getting out there.
Hike Details: Saturday 5th October 2024
For those coming from Thanet, we'll meet at Ramsgate Train Station at 9.30am to catch the train together to Sturry.
For those coming from another location, meet us at Sturry Train Station at 10.00am.
This hike will be a 6 mile loop through the Kent countryside, with a tea stop halfway through. We will aim to be back at Sturry station to catch the 14.24 train back to Ramsgate, so do plan to be out for most of the day.
We'll head out rain or shine, so please do prepare with sturdy boots, layers, and waterproofs if necessary. If the Met Office issues a weather warning, we will notify you of any changes in plan.
Please note that this hike aims to be as accessible as possible, but that it may incorporate some surfaces which are less smooth and stable. Do get in touch if you have any questions on the hike terrain.
