Navrang – A night of traditional Garba, Dandiya, and Bollywood beats, brought to you by the Glasgow University Desi Society!
Navaratri, a festival of nine vibrant nights, is a celebration of life, devotion, and divine energy. As the dhol beats echo, we come together to honour the goddess Durga in her many forms, celebrating her power through dance and music. Garba and Dandiya are more than just steps; they are a joyous tradition that brings hearts closer, no matter where you’re from.
Navrang invites you to immerse yourself in the colours, rhythms, and energy of this beautiful festival. Don your finest attire, spin to the beats of the dhol, and feel the magic of tradition come alive on the dance floor. After the Garba and Dandiya, the night continues with Bollywood tunes to keep the energy soaring.
Come for the dance, stay for the celebration, and let the spirit of Navaratri embrace you!
