Join us for this fun and creative workshop for the LGBTQIA* community led by queer art legend, Hannah Dickins aka Disco Dickins. Expect to get colourful and creative while making your own gorgeous hanging sign that is a true reflection of you.
This is the first event of Being Visible, a project lead by Galleon Arts Centre and local queer artist Matty May, creating a joyful and creative space for the LGBTQIA* community of Barking & Dagenham.
Hannah Dickins is a London based Graphic Designer, Sign Painter & Artist whose work has set the vibe at Glastonbury, Mighty Hoopla, The Tate and queer venues across London, as well as working on countless projects for and with the queer community.
At this workshop you’ll also have the chance to give your creative input into the design and branding of the Being Visible project that Hannah will be creating.
You don’t need to have any previous skills or experience, it’s all for fun and a chance to meet other LGBTQIA* people in the area.
This event is free, but we have limited spaces so please do let us know if you can no longer make it! Thanks babes.
