Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah - Music
Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah, a member of the esteemed DAZED 100 Class of 2023, is a versatile artist, content creator, and activist. Their creative pursuits are dedicated to uplifting and amplifying the voices of historically marginalized communities, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. At age 23, Darkwah held the role of Fashion Editor at Gay Times and has been featured in British Vogue. Their impactful work serves as a source of inspiration and collaboration, advocating for social justice and positive change through partnerships with renowned brands such as COTY, THE DOG’S TRUST, MERCEDES, META, SAMSUNG, SLEEK MAKE-UP & BOOTS, PINTEREST, UGG’S, WEEKDAY, COMEDY CENTRAL, URBAN DECAY, MARC JACOBS FRAGRANCES and more. Darkwah also made their acting debut in the film 'Layla', portraying Lucilla, one of the core five characters. The film premiered at the Sundance International Festival & opened BFI Flare 2024.
Tatenda Naomi Matsvai - Poetry
Tatenda Naomi Matsvai (aka 2tender) is a facilitator and devised performance maker, working with spoken word poetry in theatrical and non-theatrical performance contexts. Their performances are joyful, participatory, and multidimensional infusing their lived experience with myth to challenge colonial cosmologies.
Tatenda’s work has won the Vault Origins award, been double Offie nominated, and performed as part of Theatre Peckham, The Roundhouse Camden, The Cockpit for Voila Europe! festival and Between.Pomiędzy literary Festival (Poland).
Their poetry will be published in the Barbican Young Poets anthology(2024). Tatenda’s currently writing a TYA show which will tour with Halfmoon in 2025-26.
Jess Fitz - Music
Known for her big hair and big voice, Jess Fitz is a London-based queer pop artist influenced by powerful female voices including Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. Since releasing her debut single in 2020 jess has had support from BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing, surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams and has also performed at the Isle of Wight festival as well as iconic London venues including The Jazz Café and Ronnie Scott’s.
Jordan - Poet
Jordan is a Poet and Performer in their late 20s who enjoys exploring themes of Queerness, self acceptance and sexuality in their writing.They have been writing and performing spoken word for most of their life.
