Please join us at the Goldie Saloon - the FLINTA living room in Hackney - for the poly FLINTA social!
Find a community of poly FLINTAs to make new friends
Important information: The event is only for people who are 1. marginalised because of their gender and 2. polyamorous.
FLINTA stands for: female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender but we also include marginalised gender flavours not explicitly in this acronym such as demiboys, demigirls, detrans people, bigender people (e.g., nonbinary men, nonbinary women), genderfluid people etc.
Please do not use the social for cruising and unicorn-hunting!
We don't want any discrimination such as racism, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, fatphobia, and whorephobia at their events.
We are just a bunch of people in a pub, and, although there will be armband wearers, organisers do not facilitate the social (e.g., there are no icebreakers etc.)
Please introduce yourself with your name and pronouns.
Access information
This is the access info for the venue: https://www.goldiesaloon.com/accessibility-statement
The social involves unstructured and unfacilitated talking. Should you be anxious to socialise, at least one host will be present to help include you in the group, so simply chat to us if we should help you break the ice.
Volume levels almost entirely depend on how busy they are, they don't play loud music (Bring earplugs if you have them/might want them for noise in case you're sensitive)
For accessibility needs and feedback on what we could do to become more accessible, please contact the hosts on their instagram page @queerpolyamorysociallondon
For allies: You can familiarise yourself with ways to be a better ally to disabled queer people here: https://www.stonewall.org.uk/about-us/news/8-ways-be-better-ally-lgbt-disabled-people
The social is run by Klaus (they/them) and Lou (they/them).
