About Reina:
Reina is a brown trans woman who came to the UK seeking legal recognition and acceptance in her chosen gender identity. She is a domestic worker, a community organiser, and a fierce advocate for the racialised trans and migrant communities, especially those living and resisting at the intersection of both oppressions like herself. She has and continues to volunteer for organisations that help and support these marginalised communities.
I've known Reina for several years and I am honoured and proud to call her my friend and comrade. For the last two decades, she has been fighting and waiting for the opportunity to gain status in the UK. She finally has that chance this year.
About Ella:
Ella Mitchelle Arrozal is a Filipina transwoman performer, researcher, pole teacher and s33x worker based in London. She’s also the founder of Pole Dolls London, a nonprofit community launched in August 2023 that runs donation-based pole dance classes for transwomen and transfeminine people.
Her work aims to showcase the beauty of Pinay transfeminine culture to diverse audiences whilst nurturing a community of empowered transfeminine dancers. She also recently performed at the iconic Blackstage pole show in London.
We are SO excited to have Ella as our MC for the evening!
