👀 Have you guys ever thought about death?
The answer, for a lot of people, is most likely ‘yes’. If you have thought about death, you might've also experienced challenges talking about death - it just seems so heavy to bring up in casual conversations, even though we have so much curiosity about it, or have had such profound revelations that it would be a shame not to share with others.
This is what Death Cafe is for. It is a space for people to come together and talk about death. It could be about anything from grief and loss, to our curiosities or philosophical contemplations. The conversation could be any shape or colour that we make it.
For the moment, our monthly conversations will be in small groups of no more than 8 people. There will be no set agenda, pursuit of a conclusion or course of action. We hope everyone will have the space to share, if they wish, their experiences, curiosities and imaginations about death and dying.
