Artist and grief facilitator Sarah Pletts, alongside trained therapist Rasha, return for a full-day session designed for queer people to connect with their personal experiences of grief.
Throughout the day, participants will engage in various practices to explore their emotions including active listening, guided meditation, writing, drawing, movement, ritual, speaking and sounding.
This event may resonate with you if you’re navigating personal experiences of loss, change, absence, or injustice, or feeling affected by events in the broader world.
Bereavement is just one of many reasons to grieve. It can stem from multiple sources, which may include developmental trauma, unfulfilled dreams, challenging family dynamics, relationship ruptures, unacknowledged grief, caring for others, chronic health issues, marginalisation, the rising costs of living, housing pressures, undigested pandemic experiences, war, violence, environmental crisis - as well as the death of chosen family or friends.
Sarah Pletts (she/her) is an artist and an experienced facilitator of Grief Tending – a practice to give room for grief without
offering solutions.

She lives in London with partners and chosen family.
Rasha is a therapist working in London. She values the way Grief Tending welcomes us to connect with each other about things that matter, and so find more self connection too. The queer events are especially close to her heart as an Arab lesbian.
