Over a packed afternoon and evening of performance, seven artists share their research and process of the last few months and a glimpse of what we may expect from their ongoing, developing practices. The event begins at 2pm and contains six sharings of performance works (with breaks) alongside an installation across the building, and displays of work made throughout the course.
(note: all works are shown on each day, one ticket gets you entry to all shows)
EVENT ACCESSIBILITY:
Our partner venue is accessible to wheelchair users, the floor in which our event takes place is accessible by lift, and we will have spots reserved for wheelchair users in the studios for each performance. Please advise us in advance if you need this, over Outsavvy, or to itsandreneely@gmail.com.
There are fully accessible toilets on the ground floor, 3rd and 1st floor (where our event is happening).
Our performances are not billed as relaxed performances, as we will have blackouts, and very dark lighting states, haze, and loud sound at certain points; but audiences are welcome to wear ear defenders, move, make noise, make themselves comfortable, and exit/enter the space throughout, in most pieces.
If anything feels overwhelming during our event, in performances or break times, you're welcome to use Toynbee Studio's Quiet Space, on the fourth floor with ear defenders, a low lighting option and a sofa bed.
All Performances on Saturday November 30th will be BSL Interpreted.
REFRESHMENTS/SNACKS:
On Friday 29th, we will be running our own bar, with beers, wine, soft drinks and some snacks.
On Saturday 30th, the Cafe at Toynbee Studios will stay open from 2pm until the end of the night, selling refreshments and snacks.
