UK Poetry Slam Champion Tyrone Lewis teams up with Writer and Director Kayla Martell Feldman to bring you PROCESS, a monthly Spoken Word night featuring some of the most exciting acts across the scene.
Join us for our final open mic event of 2024 as Kayla and Tyrone bring some extra end-of-year chaos, including our regular open mic (sign up on the door, poets selected at random) plus a feature set from the spitter himself, Danny Mash!
Danny Mash is is the meal deal of the spoken word scene With a little something for everyone at unbelievable value for money, he'll leave you feeling like you've discovered the meaning of life.

Code of Conduct
We do not tolerate any abuse. By attending a Process event, you agree to the following code of conduct:
- Don't be a dick. By which we mean, be respectful of each other and don't kick down. No racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, xenophobia, ableism, classism, fascism, or any other kind of “ism” (socialism and optimism are allowed).
- Open mic slots are five minutes long! At 4 minutes and 45 seconds, we'll ring a bell to signal that you have 15 seconds to wrap it up. 15 seconds is shorter than you think!
- If your set includes potentially upsetting/triggering material, please give a content warning or trigger warning at the start - we won't include that as part of your five minutes. If your performance includes nudity and you don't give a warning in advance, you will be banned for life (nipples are allowed).
Please note that we film and photograph every event - if you don't want any video or images of you to go online, please let Kayla or Tyrone know. You can do so either on the night or afterwards.

Hackney Showroom is wheelchair accessible and has step-free access throughout the whole venue.
The bar height is 74cm.

If the ticket price is a barrier to entry for you, you are still welcome at Process - we offer free tickets to anyone who needs them, no questions asked. Just drop us a message on here or via instagram (@processproductoins) letting us know you need a free ticket. - Doors
None of the doors are power-assisted.
Doors all have overhead soft door closers.
The front door is 130cm wide and quite heavy, opening inwards. Inner doors are 85cm wide. - Toilets
There are two gender neutral toilets (one of which is wheelchair accessible), which come with a toilet bin and free period products.
The wheelchair accessible toilet has a 100cm-width door which is outward opening. It is access equipped, with 4 rails, a full-length lower mirror and a raised toilet seat which is 48cm high. The sink is 82cm high. - Seating

If you require a front-row seat to be able to lipread, please let us know in advance or on arrival.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a BSL interpreter at our events. - Blind/Visually Impaired Access
Kayla (host) is trained to safely act as a sighted guide and to provide audio description for anyone who needs it.
We can also arrange for someone to meet you at the nearest station or bus stop if needed - just let us know in advance.
Guide dogs are always welcome in the space. - Sensory and Quiet Space
The performance space has colourful lights but no strobe lights.
Stimming is welcome in the space, as is wearing headphones or earplugs, or playing with fidget toys. We recognise and respect that “active listening” looks different on everyone.
The foyer can be used as a quiet space until 8pm, after which we have access to a seperate room that can also be used as a secondary breakout and quiet space.
