qi gong is an ancient Chinese energy movement practice. it is available and accessible to all abilities and bodies.
we will explore foundational movements, theories and concepts of qi gong. the soft strength and playful movements that are at the core of qi gong's health benefits, for longevity and a balanced life.
nestled within the lush green of Bethnal Green Nature Reserve, under a canopy, so whatever the weather, we are able to practice comfortably. As the seasons are shifting, it is wonderful to be outside and practice movement, while honouring the seasons. Please wrap warm and consider hats, gloves n warm socks to keep extremities cosy.

We will start at 12noon, and gather in the space from 11:50 to sip warming harvested tea.

bones tan jones is an artist, composer and vocalist, and has been facilitating accessible and radical martial arts community spaces since 2016. They have been studying qi gong since 2018. They are mixed race, Chinese Malaysian and Welsh, and are deeply inspired by their ancestral practices.
