Join artist Lauren Barri Holstein for an Introductory Online Talk and Taster Session of the free 12-week workshops she will be delivering at University of East Anglia in 2025. No commitment to workshops required.

The Workshops:

The Wolf Den is an artist-led program on Embodied Consent, Sex Education & Self-Care which aims to transform the climate of sexual assault & its traumatic aftermath. This programme is designed for young women and vulva owning- people encouraging trusting relationships with their sexuality, their bodies and voice. These workshops will provide participants with tools for understanding consent, from a deeply embodied perspective.

The Lineup

About Lauren Barri Holstein:

Lauren Barri Holstein is a feminist scholar, performance maker, and lecturer. She holds a PhD in Contemporary Feminism and Performance from Queen Mary, University of London and regularly presents her performance work across UK-based and European venues, lectures at various universities, and gives talks and workshops at venues such as Tate Britain and The Royal Academy of Art. Lauren's longstanding practice-based research in the field of feminist performance, embodiment, dance, rehabilitative movement and somatic therapies, as well as my extensive experience working with young people in the context of performance.

This event is in partnership with School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at The University of East Anglia.
