Ordinary Stories is a storytelling event for the LGBTQ+ community, to share experiences and conversation, and connect with others in a casual and intimate setting.
We welcome all forms of storytelling: stories, poems, songs, or unplanned rambles. You can sign up to read via the form here. There will also be a sign up sheet on the night. If you change your mind after signing up, not to worry, you're still welcome to come and just enjoy the event.
This next theme is ~ ENDINGS ~
Some ideas for things to talk about:
how an ending is also a beginning / what you learned (or didn't) from a breakup / moving countries, moving away from home, moving back home / finishing your dinner / getting rid of clothes / recycling / finishing a piece of knitting or a painting / how do you know when you're finished a story? / your morning routine / a chaotic graduation story / winter, the solstice, the moon …
… Or anything else you like!
Very sadly, this will be our last event in our beloved venue, Salt the Radish, which has been Ordinary Stories' home for over a year. Follow us on instagram @_ordinarystories, or email us at ordinarystoriesldn@gmail.com to be added to our newsletter to find out about our future events.
There will also be a free glass of mulled wine for every ticketholder on the night 🍷

Venue Information
Salt the Radish will have drinks and a small selection of snacks available to buy, we are also happy for visitors to bring food in during the event
There is a single step into the café and a ramp available to use
Unfortunately, space is limited within the café and, while there are no steps to the toilet, it is a very small room with no grab rails rails or accessibility adaptations and can just about fit a small wheelchair inside.
There is free parking on Blackstock Road, Monsell Road and Finsbury Park Road. The closest tube station is Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines, Northern City and Thameslink) and nearest overground is Crouch Hill, which is a 16 minute walk/13 minute bus ride to Salt the Radish
