Queer Social Dreaming Matrix: dreaming with the archive
Tickets Off Sale
Join us this January for a celebration of our shared dreams. This workshop facilitated by Alice Kentridge and Iggy Robinson offers a space for LGBTQIA+ people to discuss dreams and explore dreamy connections in our queer community. This workshop looks to explore dreams for their collective and social meanings.
We will explore associations and resonances that emerge in the matrix, and how these threads may connect to our various intersecting identities in the present. It will also look at the stories of queer ancestors, elders, and community histories represented by the museum.
Dream sharing will be followed by a chance to translate the conversation into collaborative collages, exploring the dreams and themes through archival images from LGBTQ+ History.
Alice Kentridge (she/they) and Iggy Robinson (they/them) are queer therapists, group facilitators and writers. They have been hosting social dreaming matrix events for the past seven years, in London and online, with the Queer Social Dreaming Matrix - https://www.instagram.com/queerdreammatrix/
