This LGBTQ+ History Month, join us at Queer Britain in celebration of the Lunar New Year (year of the snake!) and the Lantern Festival.Organised by Queer China UK, a community organisation dedicated to bringing together, supporting, and advocating for Chinese LGBTQ+ diaspora.
Be part of a workshop where you can get a chance to try your hands at calligraphy, couplets writing, paper lantern decorating, and riddle writing to accompany the lanterns! All materials will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own decorations to add to your paper lantern.

Jiaxi is a creative producer with a back ground in theatre and fine art, currently working in higher education. You can also find them tattooing at Welcomettoo. Previous work includes The Slug Show (Camden People's Theatre), Fake Proposal (Shanghai Picnic Festival), Onlooker By The Funfair (The Glitch).
