Please join us for our 'Welcome to London' dinner with Dr Qassem Massri from Gaza. Hosted by the ACT UP Fund Healthcare Not Warfare campaign on Tuesday 21st January 2025 it will include a dinner, film and discussion at Queercircle - an LGBTQ+ led charity working at the intersection of arts, health and social action - accessibility information here.
Qassem Massri was born and grew up in Gazastrip/Palestine. He has lived for 20 years in Berlin. Qassem is a paediatrician in the field of neonatology paediatric intensive care and paediatric cardiology. Politically active with Palestine since its establishment in 2019. Qassem is part of ‘Palestine Speaks’ a political, democratic and anti-racist movement. It brings together Palestinian and non-Palestinian individuals, activists and various human rights groups in Germany to stand up for Palestinians and their rights to freedom, equality and justice.
