Hi everyone!
We are delighted to host our first event of 2025 in Birmingham!
Our venue for the event is wonderful Centrala, an organisation that uses arts & culture as tools to advance social integration, understanding, respect and cohesion between migrant and non-migrant communities.

Producer
Ray (they/them) is a queer, disabled producer and co-founder of Panad Productions. My areas of interest include queer stories, mental health and using genre to explore complex social issues. I’m always looking to champion bold and original projects particularly those rooted in forgotten or overlooked places.
Their recent screen projects include short film ‘Jelly’ (Ffilm Cymru, BBC Wales) 'The Girl with the Haunted Vagina' (BFI Network), Fisitor (Ffilm Cymru, BBC Wales) and BBC/Roughcut TV's 'We Might Regret This' (Shadowing Producer).
Ray's award winning films have screened at festivals worldwide with TX slots on BBC2 and Channel 4. Their recent Welsh language short ‘Fisitor’ was nominated for ‘Best Foreign Short’ at FilmQuest and was a Méliès d'Argent Award finalist at Abertoir Horror Festival with interest from Arrow and Peccadillo Pictures for distribution. It will air on the BBC in 2025.
They currently have several shorts and television pilots in development and have recently been selected for 'Funny Features' (BFI/National Lottery and Glasgow Film Festival) to develop feature ‘Beach Body’ by Toby Parker Rees. This feature adaptation expands on Toby’s half-hour film ‘Wet Look’, broadcast on Channel 4 as part of BAFTA-winning anthology series On the Edge.
They are Shadow Post Producer on BAFTA winning writer/director Paul Wright's upcoming feature film 'Mission' for Ffilm Cymru Wales, BBC Film and Screen Scotland.
Ray is a BAFTA Connect member, a BFI Creative Producers Lab alumni and a member of the 2023 BBC Comedy Collective.
