What to expect from this class?
This class is perfect for those looking to explore the more technical aspects of rope bondage. We’ll cover foundational ties such as the double-column tie, wrist cuff tie, Futomomo (leg tie), and basic harnesses. Emphasis will also be placed on rope flow and floor play, allowing you to explore both the technical and creative sides of Shibari.
You'll have plenty of time for hands-on practice, helping you build confidence, refine your skills, and connect with others. By the end of the class, you'll not only walk away with a solid understanding of key techniques but also feel inspired and empowered to bring your new knowledge to life.
Who can come to this class?
This is a beginner-level class ideal for participants who have completed my Shibari 101 course or have some basic understanding of rope handling. You don’t need extensive experience to join—just a willingness to explore and learn. Our space is welcoming, and inclusive for all.
While we encourage you to come with a partner, you're also welcome to attend solo. Many of the patterns can be practised through self-tying, and there may be opportunities to pair up with others (though this isn’t guaranteed). This is a safe, judgment-free environment where learning and curiosity are embraced. Everyone is invited to engage at their own pace and in a way that feels comfortable and consensual.
What should I bring and what do I wear?
We have ropes you can use during the class. People usually wear comfortable clothing like yoga or dance attire. We advise against loose-fitting clothing and also jeans can sometimes feel a bit restrictive to move around in and difficult to tie on.
