Queer Britain is the UK's National LGBTQ+ museum, a UK registered charity (no.1180240).
Our exhibitions include ‘We Are Queer Britain’, the current display of our permanent collection, as well as a series of temporary exhibitions that change regularly - our programme for 2025 is detailed in the Line-Up section below.
Admission is by ‘pay what you can’ donation - we suggest £10, but any amount is greatly appreciated as we operate without any government funding, and we are reliant on the generosity of our visitors, members, patrons and sponsors.
Your admission donation will help keep Queer Britain open for everyone, as we Reclaim, Preserve and Inspire LGBTQ+ history and culture.
Queer Britain members will always get priority entry; find out more about memberships here.
Pre-booking will guarantee entry to the museum on the day of your choosing, at any time between midday and 6pm. Please show your ticket to a member of the team upon arrival.
The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from noon (12pm) until 6pm - an average visit is approx. 40 minutes.
