Lalah-Simone Springer (she/they) is a working-class poet and speculative fiction writer. Their debut poetry collection, An Aviary of Common Birds (Broken Sleep Books, 2023), was released alongside their band Cyclical Music’s debut album. Long-listed for the Merky New Writers Prize in 2021, Lalah’s 2024 highlights include a book tour, performances at We Out Here Festival and Nike Well Festival London, and a Cyclical Music show with Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir. They’ve also performed at Southbank Centre, The Barbican, and Whitechapel Gallery.
Eli-Rose(she/her)is an alt grunge singer/ songwriter from South London. After honing her skills playing in various projects including Sasha and the Shades, Caleb Quaye, Byrnes night and Ideal Husband, Eli-Rose has created her own brand of grunge tinged psych-folk. For fans of Big Thief, Nirvana.
Maria Rosenberg(she/her) is a London-based singer-songwriter whose music fuses blues and trip-hop with poetic fantasy and raw emotion. Described as “Billie Holiday meets David Lynch in Eastern Europe,” her songs delve into love, psychology, and the gritty highs and lows of life. Maria has worked with Stuart Matthewman of Sade, written songs in Jimmy Page’s iconic house, and performed at Jack White’s Third Man Records. She also hosts drag music nights with queer performers, including the Polish troupe Slav4 You.
Zara Hudson-Kozdoj(she/her) is a Polish-Jamaican cellist, composer, and conductor from North London. A scholarship recipient, she earned undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Cello Performance and Conducting at the Royal College of Music. This summer, she completed a residency at Studio Richter-Mahr, where she recorded her debut album—a genre-spanning soundtrack to her life, set for release alongside live shows in 2025. Zara performs with Max Richter’s band, Celeste, Chineke! Orchestra, and the London Contemporary Orchestra. She has played at prestigious venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, and Glastonbury, and has toured major European concert halls.
Karima Francis (they/them) is a critically acclaimed musician and songwriter from Hackney, London, celebrated for their evocative melodies and raw, introspective lyrics. Their debut album, The Author (2009), garnered widespread praise, followed by The Remedy (2012) and Black (2016). Known for captivating performances, they’ve supported Paul Simon, Amy Winehouse, and The Stereophonics and appeared on Later… With Jools Holland. A new creative chapter emerged during their time recording on the US West Coast, inspiring singles like “Carelessness Causes Fire” and “Orange Rose.” Francis continues to redefine their sound with emotional depth and artistic evolution.
Flat Whyte (she/her)is a London-based, drag interdisciplinary artist and theatre-maker, originally from Poland, whose work is rooted in performance, personal exploration, and queer identity. Her journey has been one of pushing boundaries-after graduating in Media Analysis and Production in Scotland, she dove into London's creative scene, blending her love for theatre, drag, and experimental art.
