A workshop about how to ask people out, with a creative poetic perspective. Through discussion, poetry writing and crafting we explore rejection, expectations and write poems about how we’d like to be asked out
It can be scary to approach your crush, or even someone you wanna know better as a friend - so lets make the whole thing easier!
Through discussion, poetry games, writing and hands-on crafting, we’ll dive into what holds us back—like the fear of being “creepy” or the uncertainty of someone’s feelings—and confront rejection head-on. Together, we’ll tackle the awkwardness, the overthinking, and even the pitfalls of social media flirtation.
Then we'll work through why it's so hard, figure out the most comfortable way for you to approach such conversations & gain some tools and confidence so next time you fancy the barista, you can tell them (whether that in words or in verse✨)
This will involve a cosy chat & creative sharing about the worries and emotions around dating, you're not alone in feeling them & you don't have to arrive to the workshop confident and brave, there is space for nerves & vulnerability <3
Goals:
