Join poet Gayathiri Kamalakanthan for a Word-Benders poetry workshop on Wednesday 23rd April, 7-8.30pm at The Common Press.

The Common Press is wheelchair accessible, with no steps. There are currently no toilets on site, however we can use the toilets at Bun House Disco next door. There is one step into this building.
✨ We'll read and reflect together on work by trans & queer poets of colour.
✨ All welcome, our aim is to increase the number of people reading QTBPOC poets!
✨ There'll be time for writing and sharing your own work too. Bring something to write with and on.
✨ There will be BSL interpretation.

About the facilitator: Gayathiri Kamalakanthan is a Tamil poet and performer. They won the Disabled Poets Prize 2024 and their novel-in-verse, Bad Queer, is forthcoming with Faber. gayathiri.co.uk , @unembarrassable.
