How many swipes or taps are too many? How do you handle being ghosted? Or catfished? When, if ever, is the right time to send a hole pic? Welcome to Queer Digital Intimacy, our new free workshop and discussion series that explores all things at the intersection of love, sex, connection, and technology, led by renowned neuroscientist and content creator, Leander.
Over the course of four sessions, we'll take an evidence-based approach and examine what the research says on digital intimacy, as well as draw key insights from our lived experiences. Our discussions will cover the themes outlined below:
13/2/25: Get the app! - Understanding digital spaces, apps, sites, tubes, generation gaps, and how to manage your social and mental health when using them.
27/2/26: Check my bio - Who are you, and who might you be when you're online? What do you want and how do you find it? Is it possible to take (back) control?
12/3/25: Hi. Into? - How do you get started talking to others? What might flirting look like? When might it be time to take it offline? How can/should you interact with online professionals?
27/3/25: Red flags and Progress flags - Respecting yourself and others. Navigating different groups and cliques. Safety and security for vulnerable and marginalised users.
Tickets for the first two sessions will be release on 23/1, and for the latter two sessions on 28/2.
