📍 Join us on February 5th, 6–8 PM, at the Bearwood Community Hub (28A Abbey Road, B67 5RD) for an evening of creativity and inspiration!
🌺 We’ll dive into Frida Kahlo’s celebrated iconic works and her lesser-known diaristic pieces, uncovering and discussing her artistic depth and expressions. Using her intuitive journalistic style as inspiration, we'll be experimenting with watercolours in a free-flowing, mindful, and playful way.
🎨 All materials will be provided. No experience necessary, this will be a supportive, artistic space to create, explore, and play!
✨ Limited spaces available, so booking is essential!
🐻 About me: Hi, I’m Abigail—a Venezuelan-born, Bearwood-based visual artist working primarily with watercolours, acrylics, and oil pastels. My art practice is fluid and dynamic, blending visuals, writing, style, and performance.
- In 2024, my work was exhibited (Centrala in Digbeth, The GAP at Balsall Heath, the Newhampton Art Centre in Wolverhampton, and The Artery in Worcester), commissioned (Worcester City Pride and Solihull City Council), and sold at an art fair (Winter Art Fair at Eastside Projects), marking a significant milestone in my creative journey.
- This year, I’m excited to take a new step by hosting a workshop—creating a welcoming space for people to come together, explore art in community, and learn something new along the way.
