Come with me.
An island bakery on its last day before closing forever, two friends facing off against the sea, time collapsing in on itself as one person’s life shatters around them… ‘As We Fall Into The Ocean’ offers a queer perspective on home, friendship and the climate crisis.
Best friends Bea and Ūla have worked in Bea’s family bakery for years, but today’s the last day. The last day before they leave the bakery, and the island where they live, behind forever… Bea’s lived in their family bakery for years but with new love, they’re wondering if it’s still their home… Bea has worked in their family bakery for years but today their sister threatens to take away everything…
From customers old and new, from open to close, chalk lines are drawn, and timelines collide. With their memories eroding, Bea has a choice to make.
