Finding The Artist's Way is a 12 week, artist-led, in-person course for FLINTA* (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Nonbinary, Transgender, and all nonbinary identities) artists and creatives, based on the iconic book and artist workshop series, The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.
Across twelve, weekly, artist-led, evening group sessions, participants will take part in individual and group exercises designed to unblock creativity, with the group providing a space to share their experiences and build trust and connection as we take part in exercises designed to heal our artists from barriers such as fear, shame, judgement and external and internal criticism.
Finding The Artist's way is beneficial for artists of all ages and at all stages of their career working in all creative fields including but not limited to; visual art, music, design, fashion, film, photography, performance, writing, making, theatre and all other creative fields.
The tools and exercises contained in The Artist's Way have long been heralded by artists and creatives worldwide as a set of truly powerful and transformative approaches to unblocking creativity and healing from external and internal criticism as an artist, leading to joy, creativity, connection, and confidence.
Classes run 7:30pm - 9:30pm each week on Mondays at Bow Arts Trust, East London for twelve weeks, starting Monday 3rd March. Breaks for Easter holidays are taken.
