Awakening Intimacy for men+ is a day-long exploration designed to meet these desires, inviting you into a space of trust, relaxation, and sensual aliveness.
Many of us yearn for closeness but struggle with barriers—tension in the body, stress in the nervous system, or uncertainty around how to express our needs and desires. This carefully curated experience weaves together powerful embodiment practices to gently release tension, awaken sensitivity, and cultivate deeper connection with yourself and others.
What to Expect:
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) – Unwind the nervous system and melt away stress, shifting from fight-or-flight into deep relaxation. A relaxed body is a receptive body.
Shiatsu Bodywork – Learn simple and grounding techniques to give and receive nurturing touch with presence and care. This floor-based practice releases tension in the hips, back, shoulders, and neck—helping you feel more open and available for connection.
Cacao Ceremony & Intimacy Games – Open the heart with ceremonial cacao, a powerful yet gentle plant medicine that enhances connection. Through guided touch, movement, and sensory play, we explore trust, sensuality, and authentic presence with others.
Reiki & Yoga Nidra – Integrate the day’s experiences with energy healing and deep relaxation, allowing your body to fully absorb the nourishment of connection.

Who is facilitating?
The day is a co-creation between Andy Butterfield and Simon Magnus.
Andy has led many workshops and over 25 retreats across 10 years, regularly supporting events for Loving Men, Yoganu and Tantra for Gay Men. His work with the body spans 20 years and includes: Yin & Hatha Flow Yoga, Shiatsu, Reiki Teaching, Tantra, TRE®, Meditation and Trauma Therapy and Coaching.
Simon is a relational playworker, sex, kink and intimacy coach and also works with men to help them deepen into the discovery of their own pleasure. He has spend 25 years running workshops and takes his inspiration from trauma work, improvisation and play therapy.
