One would be delighted to join one for DECAIDS 2 on Saturday 24th May 2025.

DECAIDS 2 will be hosted on one of our divine royal fleets, where aperitifs of pheasant and poppers will be served.
DECAIDS 2 is a celebration of the Royal and the Common Folk living with HIV. It serves to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Her Royal HIVness (me) diagnosis’ and everyone who has sailed with them on this journey thus far.
Please do join one to celebrate that hot stud twenty years ago who royally fucked me without a condom, without whom, I may never have met ordinary fine folk like oneselves.
I know that in my time on the throne I did bugger-all to contribute to ending the HIV pandemic (unlike my daughter in law, but the less said about her the better) but now I have seen that my crown has been too tight. I will share my crown jewels for all as I am ever so pleased to announce that I will add to my royal duties the celebration of those living with HIV.
Similarly, just as I write to anyone when they reach their 100th birthday I will write to those who have lived with HIV for 1 week, 1 year, 10 years, 20 years or indeed any significant anniversary and welcome them to this royal occasion and celebrate them – one and one all.
Alongside music from the Choir of Westminster Abbey, DJ’s Stav B, Mica Coca, Jake Reed, Knayohmi, Public Toilet Disco and more – I am pleased to inform you that a Royal Variety Show will occur on the boat with HIV-versions of all of Britain’s finest TV shows – including
- HIV Gladiators – where we fight and build strength in the battle for healthcare for all.
- HIV Blind Date – a theatre show for people living with HIV to share the realities of life, love and struggle.
- HIV Casualty – Death to all politicians as we stop outside Parliament – here’s why.
- HIV Stars in their Eyes – where we sing our hearts out in the style of our HIV and AIDS ancestors and icons.
- AIDSstenders – Where everyone finds out that their sexually deviant ex on the boat who they’re trying to avoid is actually their mum.
There are 20 reserved spaces for people newly diagnosed with HIV+ and / or who are HIV+ and need more community in general (not just any community mind you – the best HIV+ activist community you could ever dream of on a boat (hopefully) in the sunshine on the Thames).
Meeting point – Westminster Pier 2pm sharp – ending at 6pm at Westminster Pier at 6pm followed by an after-party at The George Tavern 11pm-3am.
Cost – £20.
Dress code – Ponce.
Please, let’s all wave one’s royal fists in the air and celebrate those living with HIV. Gosh! it will be spiffing!
All Her Royal HIVness’ proceeds shall go to Positively UK, Positive East, ACT UP LONDON (Aids Coalition To Unleash Power) and all those fighting those god-awful terrible Pharmaceutical companies.
