DRESS CODE
If you'd like to dress up with us, then we encourage folks to wear red, pink and/or purple, but this is absolutely optional!
AUDIENCE + ACCESSIBILITY
→ This event is open and welcome to anyone who is affected by patriarchy, which is everyone!
→ Neither Love Shack nor Rooted Revelry will tolerate any forms of misogyny, sexism, transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ableism, classism or ageism.
→ The doors will be managed by a security officer from Safe Only: a not-for-profit, peer led team of queer harm reduction practitioners, raising the standard one party at a time.
→ If anyone from either Safe Only, Love Shack or Rooted Revelry is notified about any inappropriate, uncomfortable, harmful or oppressive behaviour, the person will be asked to leave the premises with fairness, professionalism and haste.
→ Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding accessibility and we'll gladly help.
TICKETS
→ Ticket prices are staggered to encourage people to buy a ticket based on their income and/or financial situation.
→ The Concession tickets (£20) are not Early Bird tickets – they are concessions, reserved only for those who are low income, unemployed and/or in a tricky financial situation. We can't afford to offer an unlimited amount of these, as we have substantial event costs to cover for the celebration to go ahead.
→ The Standard tickets (£25) represent the actual cost of putting on the event, which pays for a full programme of artists, performers, musicians, DJs, and also event crew. The budget for the event depends on the majority of people buying these tickets.
→ The Donation tickets (£30 or £40) are for those who can afford the standard ticket price plus a little extra, to help us cover the cost of being able to provide some cheaper tickets to those who need it. We, as the producers, do not receive this extra money as income – it balances out the cost of us providing the discounted tickets. If you're wondering whether these tickets apply to you, then as a loose guide, we suggest these prices to anyone earning £40,000/pa or more (although we, of course, understand some people might have dependents, debt or other commitments that impact your income).
→ The Late Night tickets (£15) are for those who want to join later to catch our headline live music act and DJs. You will have access to the event between 23:30 - 03:00 only.
→ Please choose the ticket that best applies to your financial situation – this is an honesty box system, and ultimately, we're producing a community event, aiming to platform, support and celebrate women, femmes, trans, queer and non binary folk, during a post-pandemic, post-tory, financially terrifying time!
