Youphoria Low-Sensory Strength and Mobility
FREE
This class is a space to build your strength and mobility without the stress of a traditional gym. It's suitable for trans, non-binary and intersex adults of all ages. It's open to all levels of experience, but is designed to be especially welcoming for people who experience barriers to participation in exercise, such as people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, and older adults. You can wear whatever you are comfortable in and there is no need to bring anything.
Coach Brinny (they/them) is a proud queer, neurodivergent, non-binary human who has an approach that is authentic, realistic, fun and caring. You can find out more about them at https://www.brinnydoes.com/about. Facilitator August from The Clare Project will also be present.
The class takes place in the top floor conference room at Community Base (113 Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XG). Entry is via the door marked ‘South Wing’. Facilitator August will be at the door. The building has a lift, accessible toilets and drinking water taps. Brighton Station is a 4-minute walk. North Road bus stops are a 1-minute walk. Bus tickets can be reimbursed if cost is a barrier to participation - please email proof of purchase to august.reid@clareproject.org.uk. Please feel free to use this email address to contact August with any access questions or requests.
