Queer History of Dance Music is a DJ duo, party outfit and long-running radio show exploring the co-evolution of the LGBTQI+ rights movement and club culture, ran by Amy Rodgers and Duncan McBride.
Currently Clyde Built Radio residents, their shows deep-dive into the key genres, time periods, locations and artists who have shaped dance music, club culture, and LGBTQ acceptance.
Their live sets similarly explore all corners of dance music, connecting the dots between genres, artists, geographies and time periods.
Previous radio and club night guests have included Suze Ijò, TAAHLIAH, Tim Lawrence, Rebecca Vasmant, Andrew Thomson, Mi$$ Co$mix, Shoot Your Shot & Hot Mess.
The duo have also traveled the world reviewing the best contemporary dance events and music festivals, including Utrect's Le Guess Who?, Thailand's Wonderfruit and Amsterdam's Dekmantel.
