✨ BACKLAVA: A Queer SWANA Extravaganza ✨
After what feels like an eternity, we’re thrilled to return to the stage at the iconic Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club with a night of unapologetic celebration, culture, and queer joy! HAREM OF NO ONE presents BACKLAVA—a flaky, sticky, and oh-so-sweet feast of performance, music, and radical self-expression.
This is not just a show—it’s a revolution, a reunion, and a riotous celebration of SWANA (South West Asian and North African) queer artistry. From drag to drumming, burlesque to bellydancing, and beats that’ll make you move, BACKLAVA is a night where tradition meets transformation, and the stage is set ablaze with talent.
🔥 THE LINEUP 🔥
Get ready to be dazzled by the incredible Cazeleon, who will be hosting the night with their signature charm and wit. The stage will come alive with the fierce and fabulous Darlink D and Hayriye Holivud, serving up drag queen realness, while Laz Lightning brings the heat as a powerhouse drag king. Turkish D’Light will mesmerize with their burlesque artistry, and Must Kika will set the stage on fire with their captivating bellydancing. The beats will be pumping thanks to the electrifying DJ sets from Toby Kind and Kubra Uzun, while Jabbaristan’s drumming will take you on a rhythmic journey. And closing out the night in style, Martyrio will bring their unique drag queen magic to the stage.
Don’t miss this unforgettable night of SWANA queer excellence. Come hungry for art, leave full of joy. Let’s feast together! 🥮💃✨

TICKETING: We are before all a community gathering and that means we desire our events to be affordable to everyone. This is why we have a tiered ticketing policy that might seem unusual at first. Our 'Super Supporter' and 'Baba Supporter' tickets are aimed at those of our guests who are able to afford a higher price to pay for a ticket and who would like to support us for what we do. These tickets come with the perk of having seats reserved or a surprise gift as a small thank you for supporting our collective. Having these tickets and our supporters is what is allowing us to offer our 'General Admission' tickets at a fixed affordable price. We also offer low income tickets but do not display those tickets publicly on Outsavvy as it has created some confusion in the past and ask that you contact us privately should you need them. We do not offer refunds for any reason other than the event not happening. In case of extra spaces, we allocate a limited number of tickets to be sold at the door for an extra £3 added to the ticket price.

ACCESSIBILITY:
- We offer earplugs at the door. We also offer complimentary tickets for carers who are assisting disabled people.
- We can offer chairs for access needs.
We are gathering up-to-date accessibility information and we hope to make it available shortly. For enquiries, please contact us or the venue.
