Knockout London: IWD 2025 Boxing & Q&A with Ori
Join us for a special International Women’s Day 2025 session at the Sobell Leisure Centre, led by professional boxer Oriance Lungu, fresh from her third pro fight! This pay-what-you-can event is open to all FLINTA (women, non-binary, and trans people) in the LGBTQ+ community.
We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute Q&A with Ori, diving into her journey in boxing and the challenges and triumphs of being a queer woman in the sport. Then, we’ll jump into a fun and inclusive non-contact boxing session, co-led by Ori and coach Carla.
After class we will go to a nearby cafe so we can chat and socialise.
We will meet in the boxing gym on the 1st floor of the Sobell Leisure Centre (no need to pay at reception, just tell them you are there for Knockout).
Changing rooms at gendered M/F and trans-inclusive. In addition, there are 3 completely separate private shower/changing rooms in the Sobell; these are usually locked, but you are able to request a radar key from reception to use them.
Please arrive at 9:15am to get changed and to wrap your hands.
For safety and insurance purposes, each ticket must be booked under a different names. Multiple bookings under the same name may be cancelled without warning.
