Come and relax on a Tuesday evening surrounded by fellow queers and paint your own piece of pottery for you to keep (after glazing and firing)!
The Glaze room is a gorgeous queer-owned and run pottery painting studio in the jewellery quarter. Gavin (co-owner) and myself, will be on hand throughout the evening to help you get the most out of the materials and achieve your desired effect. Choose what pottery piece you want to paint from a vast collection.
Let yourself relax and get creative and bring your artistic visions to life!
Tickets are £10 or PWYC. This ticket gets you access to the event, one free non-alcoholic drink and one free snack item (including incredible cookies) and unlimited tea/coffee. Please note that the ticket price does not include the price of your pottery item, that will be paid on the day to The Glaze Room directly.
Please contact us to discuss accessibility needs and we will do our utmost to accommodate you. You can contact us on instagram @queedrawbrum or @glazeroom.brum or please email queerdrawbrum@outlook.com.
The studio is easily accessible from Birmingham and the West Midlands. You can take a 20-minute walk from the city centre into the Jewellery Quarter, hop on the tram to St Paul’s Square, or catch a train to the Jewellery Quarter Station. For those driving, street parking is free on Sundays and after 6 PM on other days. Paid parking options include the Jewellery Quarter multi-storey car park and various metered spots around the studio.
