We are full of energy. We might not always feel that! But life is energy - in the most basic way of biology, but also what might be called the spiritual. This afternoon is an invitation to explore, to imagine how, energy is not just essential for life, but our life's essence, at our very heart, pulsing through us in our breath, our arteries, our sex, our minds. And, specifically, as men we have masculine energies within us.
And as men attracted to other men, the masculine is something we both feel in ourselves and our relationships. Energy is always present, however we are right now or who we are with. Yet, what those ‘energies’ are, who we truly are in ourselves, may not be obvious: but perhaps something we can learn more about, tap into, build, through practice with other men.
This afternoon will be an exploration of our energies, focussing on the masculine. We'll do this in different ways - body-based meditations, solo and paired practices. We will include physical and the pleasure sexual energies. Being naked will not just symbolise but literally embody how we can open up the hidden and deeper parts of ourselves, to learn more about ourselves, about others, about our connections with each other and those parts of ourselves that can can be lost in the day to day.
Like all Tantric Meetings for Men, we will start with introductions and agreements to ensure we have a safe, consensual and confidential space. We then move into connections through touch followed by a mindful respectful mutual undressing.
All Tantric Meetings are suitable for guys new to tantra and those with experience, and this workshop involves frontal nudity. Also note that, while it can be great to learn through working with different men, it's fine if you bring a partner who you want to stay with. Please contact me if you have questions about group tantra or are unsure about being naked in a group of men (email steve.hopker@gmail.com, call/text/WhatsApp me on 07813 371006).
Please bring a sheet, towel, a water bottle, perhaps a sarong or blanket for breaks… and an open mind and heart.
Do note our Terms and Conditions below
I have a NOTAFLOF policy for tickets - No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds - so do contact me if lack of money is stopping you taking part.

Location notes: Lord Byron ‘Square’ is actually a [rectangular] light commercial area accessed from West Ashton Street, off Eccles New Road. After the entry gates, turn right, then left into a short cut-de-sac and Pathways is on your right (number 15 with purple paint). It’s quiet on Saturdays with plenty of on-street parking. Pathways is about 10 minutes walk from the Langworthy tram and bus stops. Do call if you need directions.
