In celebration of the days getting longer and (somewhat) warmer - Bledi is proud to bring you HEAT! ❤️🔥 Get ready to sweat because we have an unmissable line up of incredible DJs and performers for our last party at the Yard (before it closes for renovations) 🥵 We'll be taking over the Yard on SATURDAY 12th April (our first Saturday!) from 10:30pm til 3:30am, with tracks from across the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as ‘the Middle East’) 💃 There'll be our favourite stalls, legendary tunes, and iconic performances all night so don't miss it - get your tickets now! 🎟️ Early birds are already out!
Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and people who are seeking asylum), please email blediparty@gmail.com to arrange this. There will be photographers at the event taking consented footage and photographs, but consent can be withdrawn at any time for any images/videos on the Bledi social media (just send us a DM).
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
